It will:
- Help minyanim let their members know of times and dates of services
- Help minyanim keep track of their members
- Predict how many people will come to services
- Optionally cancel a service if a minyan is not predicted
- Send reminder e-mails to members if they ask for them
Recommended uses are for:
- Large minyanim whose service times are not constant or who want to organize a directory of members
- Small minyanim whose services will be canceled if not enough people are expected to come
- Temporary minyanim (e.g., shiva)
If you want to use it to organize your minyan:
- If you don't already have a Robogabbai account, click on 'Create New Robogabbai Account' (otherwise click on 'log in' and log in to Robogabbai)
- Click on 'Create a new minyan' and answer the questions Robogabbai asks you about your minyan
- Follow the instructions from the 'invite members to join' link found from the Robogabbai 'My Account' home page
If you want to join an already existing minyan:
- If you don't already have a Robogabbai account, click on 'Create New Robogabbai Account' (otherwise click on 'log in' and log in to Robogabbai)
- Click on 'Join a minyan'
- Enter the Minyan ID and codeword for the minyan you want to join (your real-life minyan gabbai should provide this information to you)
